Summary


We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Test Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. As a critical member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated testing and strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of our software products.


Key Responsibilities


  • Test Framework Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and test cases for various software applications and systems.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Collaborate with Work closely with software developers to understand functional and non-functional requirements, identify testable scenarios, and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Automated Test Execution: Execute Run automated test suites across different environments, including but not limited to, development, staging, and production.
  • Test Result Analysis & Defect Reporting: Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek ways to automate more tests and optimize existing processes. Stay current with advancements in testing tools and best practices.
  • Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.
Critical Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Test NG).
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and and testing concepts (test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting).
  • Proficiency in various programming languages, such as Python, Golang, Java Script, Type Script for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or Load Runner, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and microservices architecture
