Our dedicated team cultivates professional relationships with participants to ensure they have access to the opportunities they deserve, through 30-plus programs and over 200 staff in the region. Mc Man is looking for a full time Community Disability Services Worker for the PDD Funded Services in Crowsnest Pass. Crowsnest Pass is located approximately 140 km west of Lethbridge.
The schedule for these positions is 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, 4 days on/4 days off.
Here’s how you will contribute as a Community Disability Services Worker within the Program:
- Carry out person-centered plans to support adults with disabilities with their personal development, community involvement, behaviour management and personal care.
- Help individuals make and maintain shared, respectful relationships with others in the community, to support meaningful participation and inclusion, including participation in employment, volunteer, recreational, and other social settings.
- Encourage and help individuals to advocate on their own behalf.
- Create clear and objective records, required reports, and other essential documentation.

- Hourly rate: $22.23 - $26.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

- Post Secondary education in human services or related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Six months’ experience in disability services; two years’ experience preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.

- Demonstrate professionalism within all aspects of employment, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a team.
- Microsoft Office abilities (Share Point, One Drive, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Current Standard First Aid CPR Level C or CSA Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate First Aid Certificate.
- Clear Child Intervention Record Check within the past six months.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector dated within past six months.
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, and use of reliable vehicle with $2M Third Party Liability insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.23-$26.00 per hour
