We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This role involves the use of complex financial models, utilizing Power Query, Power BI, and Netsuite. The position is a long-term contract role in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Power BI in the development and maintenance of financial models
• Employ Power Queryle Hyperion Essbase for financial reporting across various sites
• Write and implement Macros in financial models for efficiency
• Perform hands-on work with complex tools and systems
• Use Netsuite to manage financial data and processes
• Apply financial analysis skills in evaluating financial data and making recommendations
• Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations
• Collaborate with team members to optimize accounting functions and budget processes
• Implement data mining techniques to extract relevant financial information
• Ensure compliance with auditing processes and capital management guidelines.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Power Query
• Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Understanding of Data Mining Techniques
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Experience in Capital Management
