Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, including those in special education.
Duties
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Educate students on various subjects, ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
  • Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
  • Proofread educational materials and student assignments to ensure clarity and correctness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practices.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.53-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
