About our Client

Our client is an industry leader in Production Tools. They take pride in offering an extensive product line geared towards the manufacturing market, specializing in assembly tools, industrial tools, and accessories. They are currently looking for an HR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to join their team. The main components of this job are some HR functions, payables related to HR, managing the customer and vendor database maintenance, and other related administrative functions. Currently, this position resides at our location in the Port Kells area of Surrey. In the summer of 2024, they will be relocating to Port Coquitlam, Freemont Village area. Salary Ranges from 50-55K

Responsibilities
Identify, respect, and manage confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Complete, store, and maintain all HR records and information according to governing legislation.
Administer recruiting through employment advertisements. Receiving requests to advertise, confirming ad content, posting, and managing job advertisements.
Collecting and distributing applicants' resumes to the appropriate managers.
Assist HR Manager in processing new hires, following onboarding processes from start to finish.
As part of onboarding, work with the new hire and their manager to ensure policies and procedures are relayed. This may include orientation occasionally working with the manager to plan the required training, etc.
Administer employee benefits coverage, including enrollments, terminations, personal, status, and plan changes.
Ensure monthly benefit costs are processed and balanced between billing and payroll accurately every month.
Address Book is a customer and vendor database in our enterprise software known as E1.
Manage Address Book Administration email account.
Receive credit applications from customers and internally from co-workers.
Qualifications

Handle all tasks with the utmost confidentiality.
Postsecondary education is an asset.
3 years of experience working in an administrative position.
Intermediate level of competency with navigating Windows 10, using Office 365 applications and Adobe Acrobat.
Excel skill set must be intermediate level.
Works well without close supervision and demonstrates leadership.
Possesses the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize a high volume of work, multiple demands, deadlines, and interruptions while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer service – Manages difficult or emotional customer service situations; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, meets commitments, and remains calm under pressure.
