The Integrated Control Center (ICC) team’s Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) leader, working closely and reporting to the Alstom project manager, realizes configurations and deployment of the integrated control system platforms. The ICC DCI Leader is responsible for a team of IT Infrastructure experts and interacts directly with other team leaders, developers, design engineers, QA team, project managers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Drive the DCI roadmpa following V cycle synchronized with ICC project roadmap
• Drive the GTCS platform migration on Alstom standard solution based on AVP
• Prepare and deliver the platforms for Integrated Control Center systems.
  • Deploy cybersecurity products according to the project requirements.
  • Manage a team of system administrators / ICC Engineers
  • Priority management for the DCI team
  
  

• Integration & Development
  • Participate to the software integration activities and provide technical assistance during the integration phase.
  • Participate to the problem analysis and designing IT solutions
  • Provide Level 3 support for internal System Administrators and other team members
  • Provide quick support for any emergency IT related issues.
  
  

• Network & Cybersecurity
  • Manage IT Security (Assessment, Monitoring, Deployment, etc.)
  • Provide solution to use latest, industry accepted, Cyber Security solutions on the project
  • Managing firewalls, switch, router, IDS, etc… (Forti Net, Cisco Asa)
  • Managing configuration and policies for all endpoint systems, anti-virus, etc.) (Mc Afee EPo)
  
  

• Support Hardware
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure (Dell Vx Rail, VBlock, or hyperconverged environment)
  • Manage storage equipment (SAN, NAS, NFS, etc.) (Dell Data Domain)
  • System Monitoring Tools (Zabbix)
  • Participate to the decision taking process on new hardware purchases
  • Participate to “Tender” activities for new projects
  
  

• Team Management
  • Provide support for other teams internally and Alstom’s customers directly.
  • Manage the communication between the DCI team members and other teams (Pr EM, Verification & Validation, management etc.)
  • Manage priorities and provide reports on on-going activities.
  
  

Education & Experience

• BA degree in Computer Engineering/Science
• 8 years of experience with IT Systems Manager / Administrator

Competencies & Skills

• Strong IT Hardware knowledge
• Strong knowledge of VMWare products (VCenter, ESXi, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Power Shell, Python, Shell, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, GPO, SQL, Power Shell, Server 2012 R2, Windows 10)
• Good knowledge of Linux technologies (Cent OS, RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Good understanding of Dev Ops concepts
• Good understanding of software development pipeline concepts
• Knowledge for Configuration Management Tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform etc.
• Experience with highly available environments / applications. (Windows High Availability Clusters)
• Knowledge of Load Balancing technologies
• Good understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, Routing, MPLS, LTE, OSPF, etc.)
• Knowledge of ATCS railway protocols. Good to have
• Knowledge of railway signalisation (ATS, IXL).
• Knowledge of S2K (ICONIS) products
• NIST SP 800-53 certification, Optional
• Quick problem troubleshooting abilities
• Experience managing other IT specialists
• Good communication skills

• Fluent in English
