We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams ensuring processes and systems meet business needs. This role also involves collaborating with partners in application development, project management, and technology services delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes, leveraging technology solutions
• Collaborate with line-of-business staff and IT/IM staff to implement solutions
• Engage with external vendors for solution and application development
• Support business process owners in decision-making for improved performance outcomes
• Document detailed business and technical requirements
• Interact with vendors and contractors to obtain deliverables
• Prioritize and organize work to meet tight deadlines
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
• Use business analysis tools, techniques, and processes
• Implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Design business processes, especially leveraging technology as a solution
• Utilize Atlassian Jira, Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Agile Scrum skills to accomplish tasks and projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira and Confluence is required.
• Excellent understanding of business systems, including CRM systems.
• Proven experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and provide business solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Must have a proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
