Robert Half is looking for an Information Technology Specialist experienced in providing various forms of computer-related technical assistance and internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.). Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Communicating with staff or clients through a series of actions, remotely or face-to-face, to assist in setting up systems or resolving issues
• Understand and manage Citrix/virtual environment.
• Maintaining/repairing/replacing PC and laptops parts as required.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications and testing and evaluating new technology
• Solve IT Support ticket requests; and Manage IT inventory
• Travel may be required to other sites, with mileage coverage provided.
• Adhere to the working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
• Monitoring DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN.
• Ensure clean and organized racking of hardware and patching in the designated IT space as well as managing Vendor network circuits and Security Server solutions
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or relevant position
• Proficient in Cisco Technologies
• Knowledge of VM platforms such as Citrix and Windows
• In-depth understanding of computer hardware
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and windows OS
• Understanding of Network services TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS specifically with Security Appliances and Managed Switches
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
