Nex Source Power Inc., is looking for a Meter Prover to join our team in the Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Rocky Mountain House areas. Nex Source is a privately-owned business with a focus on continuing to build a relevant, dynamic company that provides industry leading value to our current and future customers. This position is NOT a camp/out of town position, so it provides the awesome opportunity to be home every night, 99% of the time.
The successful candidates must have:

• Proving experience and knowledge of oil and gas facilities is required
• Industry related certification and/or work experience
• A professional and respectful attitude with a strong customer service focus
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written
• Ability to work independently and cohesively within groups
• Excellent work history and solid references
• A highly respectful attitude
• A valid driver’s license and a 3-year abstract
• All industry required safety tickets including: First Aid/CPR, H2S (Enform/Energy Safety Canada), CSTS (ACSA), CSO (Energy Safety Canada)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Bench and inline proving
• Troubleshoot and field maintenance related to meter proving
• Calibrate and inspect gas meters and product analyzers
• Understand, interpret, and troubleshoot RTU, EFM and PLC configurations
• Gas and liquid sampling
• Understand high level reporting delineation, regulatory requirements, and measurement best practices
• Adhere to all company and client health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Ensure paperwork is completed timely and legibly; complete QA/QC documentation
• Be part of on call schedule
• Look for opportunities to promote efficiencies
• Represent Nex Source in a positive light
