Electrical Meter Installer
New Westminster

- Location: City of New Westminster, BC
- Contract Length: 7 Months
- Schedule: Averaging agreement 40 hour work week
- Business KMs paid monthly
- Training provided
- Opportunities for advancement within KTI and the potential for paid travel to work on projects all over Canada
- Installation and service work related to electric meters.
- Installation of electric meters will be performed 70% outdoors, 30% indoor
- Recording old and new electric meter readings
- Coordinates installation scheduling and meets quality/quantity and safety requirements
- Digital data entry through an Electronic Work Order on a handheld device
- Self management of assigned accounts to completion
- Working in compliance with Health and Safety Policy/Procedures
- Communicate updates to clients with top-notch customer service
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
- Construction/Trades/Laborer: 1 year +
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Able to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time (70% outdoors, 30% indoors)
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Previous electric meter installation experience is an asset
- Electrical experience preferred not required
- Valid driver’s license (N minimum) and a reliable vehicle (with a valid business insurance)
- Mandatory clean criminal background check and driver record/abstract
