Naval Combat Information Operator
Make a difference with the Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve in Newfoundland as a Naval Combat Information Operator. Be responsible for the operation of all shipboard surveillance radars and associated equipment of the shipboard intelligence, surveillance, and recognizance systems.
This position is available for part-time employment with the Primary Reserve at HMCS CABOT in St John's, NL. Reserve Force members usually serve part time at a UNIT near their community, and may serve while going to school or working at a civilian job. They are paid during their training. They are not posted or required to do a military move. However, they can volunteer to move to another base. They may also volunteer for deployment on a military mission within or outside Canada. A Career with the Reserves: As a reservist, the choice to go is always voluntary. The main role of the Reserve Force is to support the Regular Force at home and abroad. The following Non-Commissioned Members position is available for part-time employment in the Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve Force. Naval Combat Information Operator Qualifications: A successful candidate must:

be a Canadian Citizen
be 16 years of age or older (with parental or guardian consent if under 18)
meet Canadian Armed Forces medical standards
Completed grade 10
successfully complete selection process, interview and examinations
pass physical fitness tests
