Operations Clerk - Days

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm
Position Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $18.00/hr
Workplace address: 1792 Queensdale Ave, Ottawa, K1T 1J8

Responsibilities:
  • Sorting parcels for 3 hours/day
  • Conducting warehouse searches
  • Replying to customer service / tracing emails
  • Entering data including adding comments in the system for tracking
  • Updating problem shipments on drive
  • Comfortable with Google applications ( email, drive, docs, etc. )
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • 50% computer/phone - 50% standing or walking in the warehouse ( varies on the day )
  • Working with Parcel OS&D
Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
  • Standing bending & twisting
  • Good typing/data entry and clerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & google applications
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
