Operations Site Leader

The Site Leader will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects the Ottawa warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations at the site, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Ensure all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by providing clear direction, feedback, and support.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the site’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with other Go Bolt sites and the central logistics team to optimize the flow of goods and information.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing holding costs.
- Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep the site operations up-to-date.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business performance.
- Prepare regular reports on site performance, including operational, financial, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Personal Attributes:

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours work as needed.
- Site-based role with frequent interaction with staff, clients, and suppliers.
