We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member - Chop Line. The position will be stationed at our 900 Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. This position will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing non-ferrous scrap metals in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, the control and care of the industrial fork lift and skid steer equipment which is used for shipping, receiving and production purposes

When:

• Continental shift rotation, 7:00AM – 7:00PM & 7:00PM – 7:00AM, 7 regular shifts (84 hours) in a two week period, with the opportunity for overtime!!!

What we expect you to do:

• Pick materials in accordance with established quality standards;
• Clear material jams through the use of Skid Steer equipment and other manual tools;
• Material movement and organization using forklift equipment;
• General troubleshooting of sortation equipment;
• General housekeeping activates as required;
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

You have:

• Standards that mirror Triple M Metal’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride;
• Previous experience in a physically demanding role;
• Previous experience working at heights;
• Previous experience working on a continental shift;
• Previous experience operating forklift and skid steer equipment;
• Physical ability to wear respirator throughout shift.

Bonus Points!

• Previous experience operating a boom lift.
