What we are looking for:
This position will be responsible for booking appointments as well as registration for our Patient Scheduling and Registration Departments. Additional responsibilities will include filing, responding to outside requests, daily schedule maintenance and providing scheduling support to various departments.

What you bring to the role:
Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast paced environment is required
Knowledge of and/or completion of a medical terminology course
Proficient computer skills, Meditech experience preferred
Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the team
Evidence of good attention to detail
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

Work Schedule:
The successful candidate will work day shifts; shifts are 730am-330pm, 800am-400pm, and 830am-430pm

Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.

Compensation:
CUP C03: $25.93-$29.17 per hour
