The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2025 ACCT 361 LEC 01 (Cost Accounting) on Monday/Wednesday 11:00 - 12:15. Classes in the Winter 2025 semester run from January 13, 2025 to April 11, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 14, 2025 to April 25, 2025, if applicable.
ACCT 361 (Cost Accounting)
LEC 01 Monday/Wednesday 11:00-12:15 TUT 01 Friday 15:00-15:50
The calendar description of the course:
¿The production of accounting data for the purpose of decision-making, control and evaluation. Topics covered are in the cost classifications and methods of cost establishment, cost data appropriate for decision models, standards and controls.¿
Qualifications
- Masters Degree and Charted Professional Accountant (CPA)
- Previous post-secondary accounting teaching experience is a requirement
- Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching ACCT 361
- Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset
- A current CV containing a discussion of relevant teaching and professional experience.
- Previous teaching evaluations, if applicable
- Names of three references
- Any additional information to strengthen your application and assist in the selection process.
