- Develop and maintain a product governance framework for CXP, including processes, guidelines, and templates.
- Collaborate with key partners in portfolio management & governance, project management, delivery, and change management to ensure alignment and integration into other governance frameworks such as the solution delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, risk, dev/engineering) to integrate governance requirements into the product development lifecycle.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance.
- Leveraging the product operations team and other partners, consolidate and analyze data from various sources, including product usage data, client feedback, market research, and financial reports.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights and trends to product leads, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights to product managers and leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for efficiency and improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize product practices, operations and cost optimization.
- Help manage the overall product portfolio budget, including costs related to operating, maintaining, enhancing products.
- Analyze product-related financial data and variances, including burn rates, costs-per-user, and licensing costs.
- Collaborate with product managers to estimate costs, track spending, and analyze variances at the product portfolio level.
- Generate regular financial reports and dashboards to track product performance, budget adherence, and key financial metrics.
- Prepare budget presentations and reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with product managers, leadership, and other stakeholders to provide updates on performance and governance matters.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on reporting requirements and governance practices.
- Work closely with product managers to understand product roadmaps, development plans, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment and increase knowledge on budgeting processes, financial reporting, and accounting practices.
- Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to product managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Explain financial concepts and analysis in a way that is understandable to non-financial audiences.
- Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends that impact client experience and the product management practice.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, information management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data or financial analysis, reporting, product operations or a related role, preferably within a product management or technology organization.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, product management methodologies, and product budgeting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficient in data visualization tools and reporting software (e.g., Tableau), and financial modeling techniques and tools (e.g., Google Sheets).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira).
