The successful candidate will travel to certain wells taking gas readings from Surface casing vents and inputting the data in Well view. They will work and gain engineering experience in thermal completions by working on OPEX programs for all thermal assets.

What you’ll do

Provide engineering support to ongoing field operations.

Conduct optimization studies and provide recommendations on OPEX work.

Site and rig visits.

Phase studies and benchmarking study.

Conduct reviews and implement program/procedural standardizations across assets.

Who you are

Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).

Available to begin work in May 2025.

Experience with Power BI or Wellview is considered an asset.

Education

Must be enrolled in an Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.

Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.

New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

Working Conditions

May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.

Safety Sensitive

This may be a safety-sensitive role, and you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.
