Position Name: National Plan Principal
Reports to: Ho S (Head of School)
Time commitment: Full-time
This position is the School Head for the Ministry of Education and, as such, is responsible for
compliance with Educational Regulations and Policies, Child Protection Regulations and Legalities,
Chilean Curriculum, and Labor Relations. Working closely with the Ho S and the Divisional Principals,
the NP Principal fosters an inclusive and caring community.

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences
Educator with a Teaching Degree from Chile.
Educator with a Teaching Degree from Chile.
- Master in Education Field, School Administration related.
- 10 years of experience or more.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Active professional network in Chile.
- Knowledge of Chilean educational law and Child protection regulations.

Supports the Ho S, Child Safeguarding Lead, and SCL Coordinator to comply with local
regulations regarding Child protection.

- Supports the Ho S and Divisions in fostering a safe and caring community, with special

Supports HR with compliance with local labor regulations for teachers, and Legal
authorization for teachers who do not have a Chilean Teaching Certificate (Autorizaciones
Docentes).
- Participates and leads Labor Relations activities, fostering a positive Working Climate.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, including Ley Karin, Inspección del Trabajo/Labor inspection,
