Your role at Clorox:
We are looking for a Sr. Buyer to join our LATAM Procurement Team. This role will focus on Strategic Procurement of Logistics Services across the Andean and Southern Cluster, specifically for Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador. As a Sr. Buyer, you will lead initiatives to optimize logistics services and ensure cost-effective, high-quality solutions that align with our business objectives in the region.
In this role, you will:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for transportation, pallet, and warehousing services across Chile and the Andean cluster to drive procurement excellence and meet business objectives.

Lead tactical purchasing activities and handle negotiations for logistics-related services, ensuring competitive pricing, high service levels, and alignment with regional goals.

Drive cost-efficiency and support business growth by achieving savings targets, optimizing service levels, and securing consistent supply.

Collaborate closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in service and availability.

Establish and maintain a comprehensive savings tracking and reporting system to capture project outcomes, cost savings, and KPI´s achievements.

Build expertise in assigned indirect categories to drive informed sourcing decisions and enhance category performance.

Effectively engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers to identify and capitalize on new opportunities, promoting a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Partner with Regional and Cluster Strategic Sourcing leaders to support the execution of category strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency in procurement processes.

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Logistics) or equivalent work experience.

3+ years in Procurement, preferably in Indirect Procurement within supply chain, logistics, or sourcing, ideally in FMCG companies.

Work experience in an international environment and matrix organizations.
-
Ability to creatively solve business problems pragmatically, working with a high level of independence.

Proven experience in indirect procurement, including materials, goods, and services
-
Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of relevant indirect categories and market dynamics.

Advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Excel, Power BI and SAP
