We operate on a global scale, with three high-tech labs located in Amsterdam, Oklahoma City, and Hangzhou. Currently, we have an opportunity for a Junior Data Recovery Specialist within our Data Recovery team in Hangzhou, China.

About the role - you will:
As a Junior Data Recovery Engineering Specialist, you will be working on:
o Conduct basic logical recovery using provided software tools, such as corrupted partition table or boot sector damages.
o Perform mechanical recovery like head transplants.
o Transfer recovered data to return media for customer delivery.
作为初级数据恢复工程专家，您将从事以下工作:
- Perform data recovery on hard disk drives, solid-state drives and other data storages, including but not limited to:
o Conduct basic logical recovery using provided software tools, such as corrupted partition table or boot sector damages.
o Perform mechanical recovery like head transplants.
o Transfer recovered data to return media for customer delivery.
- Utilize Case Management System for case tracking and management.
- Collaborate with contact center advocates to resolve issues and gather necessary customer information.
- Assist lab’s inventory management, scrap control, equipment maintenance.
- Maintain consistent communication, scheduling, and documentation using Microsoft Office 365.
- Support fellow lab technicians and lab manager in various tasks to ensure optimal lab operations.

- 支持其他实验室技术人员和实验室经理完成各种任务，以确保最佳的实验室运行状态。
About you:
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion.
- Ability to work accurately, with interruptions to meet specific deadlines.
- Ability to work follow procedures and instructions as well as suggest improvements to current flows.
- Ability to lift 15kg on a consistent basis.

Your experience includes:
- 1 year of experience in computer industry, new graduates are also welcomed.
- Strong written and verbal English, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent in Microsoft Offices and other Apps.
- Experience with Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
- Basic understanding of Filesystems: FAT, NTFS, HFS+.
- Basic understanding of RAID systems, RAID 0,1,mirror.
- Bachelor‘s degree and/or equivalent experience.

Besides, Seagate has set up entities in Tianjin and Hangzhou respectively. The Tianjin services cloud storage customers and Hangzhou provides data recovery services respectively.
