Fleet & Technical Support Manager - Specialty Rental North-East Asia
Atlas Copco Specialty Rental North-East Asia (China, Taiwan, S-Korea, Japan) is looking for an ambitious and dynamic Fleet & Technical Support Manager to make sure the right rental fleet and the right quality and technical competence levels are in place to support business growth in the region and to ensure a great rental experience to our customers. You are responsible in managing the rental fleet within the North-East Asia to maximise utilisation, profitability, planning to reduce unavailability and develop proposal with forecast for additional investment to achieve the company fleet profitability and efficiency goals.
You will develop and support the local service teams to work with the right competence, tools & processes, in line with ASR and Fleet Quality procedures and best practices, while putting safety first. You are closely involved in the business and play a key role in the specification and introduction of new products. An important part of your mission is also to lift up the technical competence of the sales teams when it comes to technical basics in operations, product and application knowledge. You are actively involved in the bidding, preparation and execution of big or more complex rental projects.
In this position, you will report to the Region General Manager, North-East Asia and will interact and meet frequently with the local teams in the countries. You will become part of a young, international and dynamic team. The location could be either in Wuxi or Shanghai.

To succeed, you will cover

• Key Responsibilities,

• Pro-actively plan and follow-up fleet investments and divestments in line with the business growth and fleet plan. You play a pro-active role to ensure we reach our target fleet utilization and in the specification and introduction of new products.
• Monitor condition of the fleet and ensure the right actions (maintenance, repair, upgrade, renewal,..) are implemented to keep the fleet in good condition and ‘ready for rent’. You play an active role to ensure we reach our target fleet efficiency.
• Ensure the fleet Quality, Safety and Environmental standards are implemented, maintained, and developed in accordance with local legislation, ISO standards, and Atlas Copco Group requirements.
• Provide operational process and tactical fleet movement forecast to support utilization and reduce unavailability to increase customer experience.
• In cooperation with the divisional fleet & service team and local managers, identify and plan required competence development for the service teams and required technical competence development for the sales teams.
• Communicate and meet frequently with the region manager, local managers and teams in the different countries on fleet, service and technical support issues
• ASR NEA Operations point of contact to the ASR divisional fleet & service team and regional window person to VP operation

• Launch standardization initiatives across the region to improve efficiency
• Collection and implementation of the best practices from other regions
• Provide and coordinate technical support to the whole ASR NEA organization
• Provide technical support in the bidding, preparation and execution of big or more complex rental projects. You will regularly visit customers and project sites for this.
• Make sure all systems are used in a proper way and support the implementation of new systems
• Drive implementation of new technologies and the full potential of the Fleet in the market
