SECONDARY SCIENCE Teacher

Location: NACIS Shanghai

NACIS Shanghai is looking to recruit a Secondary Science Teacher, to drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of Secondary Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Integrated Science.

The role:

We seek a qualified Teacher of Secondary Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Integrated Science to join where your focus will be:

To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge and be flexible within the Secondary Science department to teach different aspects and age group of the curriculum.
To ensure that planning, preparation, teaching, recording, assessment and reports meet the needs of the students and expectations of the school.
To promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s Secondary curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved.
To foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.
To actively contribute to wider school development and growth.

The Successful Candidate will Possess:

Qualified Teacher status with a minimum of three to four years teaching experience in a Secondary Science Subject.
Experience of IBDP or Alevel teaching is preferred.
Understanding of effective teaching and learning theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children through classroom organization, differentiation and learning strategies.
Holding a PGCE/ QTS or national recognized teaching license.
A degree in Physical Education preferred.
Team player and be flexible.

You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment as well as meet visa-related restrictions for China, including a bachelor degree, non-criminal background check and at least 24 months of teaching experiences.
