We are seeking an experienced and proactive Buildertrend Administrator to lead the management and optimization of Buildertrend for our client. This individual will ensure that Buildertrend is fully leveraged to support our construction projects, with a focus on driving adoption of underutilized features, improving team efficiency, and delivering strategic insights through customized notifications, reports and dashboards.
As the Buildertrend Administrator, you will manage system settings, provide training and support to the team, and be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity to maximize the platform's capabilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our project managers and executives have the information they need to monitor project health, spot risks, and make data-driven decisions.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Buildertrend Administrator to lead the management and optimization of Buildertrend for our client. This individual will ensure that Buildertrend is fully leveraged to support our construction projects, with a focus on driving adoption of underutilized features, improving team efficiency, and delivering strategic insights through customized notifications, reports and dashboards.
As the Buildertrend Administrator, you will manage system settings, provide training and support to the team, and be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity to maximize the platform's capabilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our project managers and executives have the information they need to monitor project health, spot risks, and make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
System Administration and Optimization
- Manage all Buildertrend settings and configurations to ensure the platform is configured to meet our company's needs
- Continuously monitor system usage and recommend best practices for streamlining workflows and improving efficiency
- Define strategies and tactics to increase team engagement with Buildertrend, focusing on critical features such as scheduling, budgeting, and task management
- Train team members on the importance of key features and develop onboarding and ongoing education programs to improve usage
- Identify and eliminate roadblocks preventing full utilization of Buildertrend's tools, fostering a culture of consistent and effective use
- Create customized reports and dashboards that provide project managers and executives with up-to-date insights into the current state of all projects
- Generate reports that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), identify projects at risk of cost or schedule overruns, and provide actionable insights on potential risks and issues
- Ensure that Buildertrend's capabilities are utilized to track and manage project risks, providing the executive team with clear visibility into at-risk projects and their root causes
- Implement alerts and notifications that highlight schedule delays, budget overruns, and other potential risks, providing timely warnings to project managers and executives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Buildertrend support, troubleshooting, and customization requests from the team
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other departments to ensure Buildertrend supports their needs and integrates effectively with other business systems
- Regularly gather feedback from users to improve processes and ensure Buildertrend is aligned with company goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Buildertrend administrator or in a similar role utilizing Buildertrend, preferably in a home construction environment
- Strong understanding of Buildertrend's project management, financial, and reporting features
- Experience in driving user adoption of software platforms and delivering effective training to diverse teams
- Ability to develop custom reports and dashboards, with a focus on providing meaningful insights into project performance and risk
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with construction industry workflows, project management, and budgeting a plus
