Freight Broker Remote (Colombia)

As a Freight Broker some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
- Attract and negotiate with new potential clients for the company.
- Find the right carrier for the shipment movement and negotiate rates with them.
- Provide customers with clear and timely information about their cargo and offer advice when needed.
- Maintain the system up to date to facilitate access and analysis of information.
Requiriments:
Studies: A degree in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or a related field in Logistics is required. Other educational backgrounds will also be considered.
Experience: At least one year in logistics operations. Experience as an account executive or Freight Broker will be considered a plus.
Language: Strong proficiency in English is essential to communicate effectively. (B2+ or higher).

- 22 years of industry experience: With our official MC (operating authority), we operate legally, providing trust and legitimacy to our clients. This also grants us access to a network of reliable carriers.
- Permanent contract with 100% remote work, offering you autonomy.
- A comprehensive onboarding training that will help you quickly understand GLT’s processes.
- You will receive training on platforms such as Highway, DAT, Green Screens.ai, Macropoint, and Salesforce.
- We have a customer portal that streamlines and simplifies your sales process.
- You’ll have a support team to help you generate leads and access to a preferred carriers database, making it easier to select reliable carriers.
- Our back-office team supports you in areas such as claims, collections, and payments.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with one hour for lunch (following the American calendar).
- Salary: $2.600.000 + Six Months Guaranteed Bonus $931.000 + 20% Commissions (based on profit).
