Education:
The Roche Services & Solutions as well as People Support Solutions organisations located in San Jose provide end-to-end business solutions for Finance, Procurement, IT, Communications, People & Culture (Human Resources) and beyond to our Roche colleagues across the Americas region. Today Roche employs altogether around 800 employees in Costa Rica.
The Position
As an Analyst-technology (MDM) at Roche, you will work with the US-based Master Data Management (MDM) team of Roche and support data stewardship-related activities. In this role, you will be expected to work with stakeholders across various business functions, the MDM, and the GATE-India teams. Your role will include providing support in developing insights and strategies that optimize data-related processes and contributing to informed decision-making.
As an Analyst - Technology (MDM), you will:

Utilize in-depth knowledge of data modeling, analysis, and data management techniques to support and enhance data-related processes.

Ensure Adherence to the best practices in data management, governance, and analytics throughout the organization.

Perform Data Stewardship activities and process the Data Change Requests related to Health Care Master Data.

Conduct matching and merging of the Master records.

Ensure the newly on-boarded data set is accurate, complete, and adheres to currently defined data standards.

Perform analysis and required maintenance of the Master Data including HCPs, HCOs, Payer / Managed Care, and Affiliations.

Help devise an adaptable governance methodology to enable efficiency and effectiveness in data operations, as it relates to MDM, data integration, taxonomy, and reporting & analytics.

Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant information.

Comprehend stakeholder requirements, prioritize tasks, and effectively manage day-to-day responsibilities, including liaising with MDM teams and coordinating with the GATE India team for delivery.

Prepare presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations to the stakeholders.

Attend meetings with teams across different time zones to ensure smooth delivery of analytical & operations related requests for the business partners.

Take an enterprise mindset, linking individual responsibilities with broader organization; focus on outcomes that provide most business and patient value.

Be flexible to attend meeting during IST/PST overlapping working hours.

Provide mentorship and training to junior team members on Data management and MDM principles and the Pharma domain, fostering the development of local skill sets and capabilities in Costa Rica.
Required Experience, Skills, Qualification

Candidate must have 4-8 years of data analysis & management experience, with 2-5 years specifically in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare projects.

Candidate should have experience in US Pharma data operations and pocesess a strong background in data analysis and data management.

Experience in managing data projects and data vendors in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries.

Knowledge of MDM systems like Reltio, and Informatica MDM; Pharma CRM systems like Salesforce, OCE, Veeva CRM; and Cloud platforms like AWS / Google / Azure is a strong plus.

Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL, along with knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or R.

Strong experience in Master Data Management and data stewardship/governance processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership.

Must demonstrate knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, business information systems, databases, and business analytics relevant to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals.

Flexibility on schedules for different time zones.
Education:
-
Bachelors / Master’s degree in Technology or a relevant discipline, with a preference for Computer Science, Software, Statistics,
-
Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Management, and related fields.

Any certifications in MDM Tools or Data Management would be an added advantage
