The objective of this role is to enable GBS Team to meet its objectives regarding the processing of daily bank statements and review line items have been recorded correctly in bank accounts. The day-to-day is dynamic, where you must execute processes every day collaborating with the AP, OTC teamd and end markets.


Your key responsibilities will include

• Process daily bank statements and review line items have been recorded correctly in bank accounts.
• Execute general ledger accounts reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items.
• Perform month-end activities accurately ensuring period is closed as per agreed timetable.
• Provide support to audits applying controls effectively by mitigating risks.
• Communicate with stakeholders by solving issues, providing guidance and promoting a customer-oriented culture.
• Review and update task level descriptions (if necessary) to maintain knowledge within the team.
• Prepare and post journals ensuring business rules are aligned with end market requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and timely execution of SOX controls.

What are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of experience in R2R processes as General Ledger & Bank Reconciliation.
• Technical Degree in accounting or bachelor’s degree in accounting in progress.
• English – at least B1.
• Medium/Advanced knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Maintain a proactive attitude.
• Propose new ideas and constantly innovate in the current role.
• Coordinate and plan activities by using time efficiently.
