Business Manager

What is your day to day?
  • Responsible for handling a mid-size team, including leading Team Leaders and coordinators.
  • Effective management of internal & external Senior stakeholders while nurturing a good relationship, partnering to create synergies and efficiencies.
  • Work with other Leaders in the project to create a culture of collaboration.
  • Regulate process controls effectively and proactively while continuously assessing the need of control improvement. Audit financial reports and information from team portfolio.
  • Financial support of assigned clients
  • Meet deadlines, own the team "Monthly Scorecard" and other KPIs.
  • Monitoring of spending and allocation in accounting accounts.
  • Regional Tax Support (LATAM).
  • Analysis of balance sheet accounts of assigned clients and the team “Balance Sheet Review”.
  • Comprehensive and consolidated control and monitoring of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Comprehensive report on customer operations by country. Accounting reconciliation and corporate monthly closing.
  • P&L analysis of assigned clients and team.
  • Provide and analyze the information in the different information systems, to issue consolidated reports.
  • Support in transitions and onboarding of new clients.
  • Control and follow up of customer billing.
  • Promote continuous improvements and processes standardization.
  • Promote formal training and develop team capabilities.
  • Recruitment and team performance management.
  • Support JBS initiatives and projects.
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure all-round development of individuals

Qualifications:
  • +10 years of overall accounting experience
  • +5 years of accounting experience in a similar role in a corporate environment, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, accounting reconciliation, and monthly closing.
  • +5 years leadership experience
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Engage and communicate clearly, confidently, and in a concise manner with internal and external stakeholders and see things from their perspective with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Able to drive the productivity of assigned team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Licenciatura degree is a plus.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Fluent in English. Portuguese is a plus.
