We have an exciting new opening for a Research and Development Test Lab Engineer Intern. You’ll be given the opportunity to develop next generation products and technologies for the automotive industry.
We are looking for the brightest minds from around the world to join us on the Garrett Motion R&D Internship Program in Czech republic for year 2025.
We are offering full time internship cooperation in mechanical and electrical field in our development center in Brno, Czech republic.

We are offering full time internship cooperation in mechanical and electrical field in our development center in Brno, Czech republic.
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
- Work on e Powertrain virtual model – focus on inverter and e Machine including electric and electromagnetic circuits.
- Build model using LTSpice SW.
- Simulate selected phenomena of the whole system at steady state and during drive according WLTC cycle. Identify and optimize weak points.
- Inputs is internal design and benchmarked units.
- Interact with subject matter experts in systems, power electronics and motor control. Opportunity to innovate, create and drive a project from start to finish, taking ownership and finding solutions to meet overall goals.

- Student in last year (of Masters) of Engineering degree in Electronic / Mechatronic
- Have taken courses in electric circuits virtual modeling
- Good knowledge of LTSpice modeling or similar tools
- Understanding of electronic motor and inverter design
- Self-motivated, flexible, independent
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Duration: 5-6months
- An ability to integrate a high technology, collaborative & passionate team
