What can you look forward to as a Mechanical Design Engineer?

• Lead the Design Process: From initial concepts to final drawings, you’ll take ownership of all design work packages related to suspension modules and chassis components. This includes installation checks, 3D modeling, and conducting feasibility studies.
• Precision Engineering: Execute tolerance and strength calculations, review FEA results, and support FMEA processes to ensure your designs meet the highest standards.
• Set the Benchmark: Play a key role in developing and refining our internal design standards, guidelines, and engineering kits, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with technical leads, project engineers, customers, suppliers, and other ZF teams to ensure that every design meets or exceeds requirements.
• Optimize and Adapt: Engage in change management, design-to-cost activities, and performance optimizations to keep our products at the cutting edge of the industry.

Your profile:

• University degree in mechanical engineering with preferably 3+ yrs in automotive design or related field
• Adept at CAD, FEA, and SAP, and you can transform concepts into precise, manufacturable designs
• Passion for automotive projects
• You are a fluent English speaker, Czech is nice to have
