About Us: Prague is one of the most beautiful European cities as well as the cultural and economic heart of Central Europe. Almost 135 Quidel Ortho employees are supporting the following functions within EMEA Shared Services: Customer Service and Finance Team, People & Culture and GIS Team. We are located in an attractive part of Prague, very close to the city center. The modern newly renovated building creates a flexible environment that contributes to employee work-life balance.

Your New Role: The Procure to Pay Specialist executes the day to day activities associated with the vendor payment process. The Procure to Pay Specialist would be a member of the Shared Services Center in Prague, Czech Republic; therefore the role would entail regional coordination and collaboration with EMEA in-country Finance Teams in a timely and efficient manner.

The Responsibilities:

Supporting the Procure to Pay process mainly payment processing.
Addressing vendor inquiries.
Participating in monthly close and ensure Accounts Payable is accurately reported on a timely basis.
Supporting balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations.
Closing cooperation with Vendor master data team with regards to vendor payments.
Supporting Quidel Ortho countries in meeting their monthly close and reporting requirements.
Closing cooperation with treasury and local finance.
Active participation in PTP improvement projects-SC1.

The Individual:

Bachelor's/ University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
1-2 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance is advantage.
Accounting Certification Preferred (ACCA, CPA, Accounting Certificate, etc.) is advantage.
Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills and detail-oriented.
Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.
Fluency in English.
Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiatives.
Experience working in a Shared Service Center is a plus.
Strong understanding of US GAAP Reporting Principles is advantage.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
