• Bachelor's degree
• Relevant experience leading cross-functional programmes or projects using project-management methodologies
• Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
• Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
• Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment

PM analyses returns processes and leads projects/ROI initiatives and manages KPIs to control operational performance in reverse space in Amazon EU.

The role will be based in Prague and will include at least 20% of business travel, mostly across EU.

Key job responsibilities
PM in EU Vendor Returns will navigate in complex environment where operations, tech and customer experience meet. Main goal of PM is to deliver higher partner (customer) experience whilst doing so at lower cost.
PM will leverage strong analytical skills and data processing tools mastery (MS Ecxel as expected competence, Tableau, Quicksight , SQL- to be trained) to identify opportunities within returns operations. Resulting in leadership of projects across ops, business and tech teams including tracking of results delivered. PM is individual contributor working in wide matrix structure (7+ separate teams ) and with 80+ FCs across EU.

A day in the life
As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.

You’ll encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.

About the team
Re Lo (Reverse Logistics) is a team that owns process and operations of customer returns, vendor returns and warehouse deals streams. Customer returns focuses on items returned by end customer and downstream processes, warehouse deals (AW) is a recovery focused sub stream of customer returns and focuses on non-technical and technical grading/testing. Vendor returns focuses on Amazon partners/vendors as our internal customers and their experience coupled with internal process efficiency.

As a member of the EU Reverse Logistics Operations (Re Lo) Vendor Returns team, the Project Manager (PM) drives standardization, monitors and steers delivery against KPIs. Additionally, the PM identifies improvement opportunities and leads projects to improve processes within the Re Lo scope.

• Advanced or master’s degree
• Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
