Vestas Eastern Europe and Austria (part of Vestas North Central Europe) is a Sales Business Unit covering Austria and Eastern Europe countries including Czech Republic. In the Service department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants. With our long-standing excellent track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we manage our clients' plants effectively while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance activities for wind turbines (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic)
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical errors
- Implementation of quality assurance measures
- Wind turbine installation and commissioning
- Responsible handling of spare parts, tools and vehicles
- Complete work reports and required technical reports Responsible for compliance with the safety standards on site
Qualifications
- Obtained technical education in Electric Engineering, Automation or Mechatronic Engineering
- At least 2 years related working experience, preferably in wind industry or service business
- Driving license class BE Certificate of competency in operations on electrical equipment up to 35000V without explosion hazard. UBP Czech Republic public notice 50/1978, §6, respectively Government Regulation 194/2022, §6
Competencies
- Good team spirit and service mindset
- Able to read and write in Czech and English
- Availability to travel
- Ability to work in heights
- Proof of good conduct, by means of a Certificate of Criminal Records Good knowledge of MS Office

Additional information
Work location: Olomouc, Czech Republic. This position requires approximately 180 days of travel yearly.
