In Thermo Fisher Scientific we provide innovative solutions for electron microscopy in scientific and industrial lab environments. With these solutions Thermo Fisher Scientific aims to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
You will be part of the Digital Transformation team based in Czech Republic, France and the Netherlands. We strive to bring digital technology into our products, solutions and services, enabling connectivity, data extraction and data analysis in order to change the way how we do business and to help science progress through the data!

What will you work on
In this role you will:
- Define and maintain the software architecture of our unified software distribution & monetization solution
- Work with various software R&D teams to integrate the solution, while assisting in the gradual transfer to more modular and more maintainable software
- Team up with our IT and CRM teams on entitlement mechanisms for monetization of our digital solutions
- Connect with our service team to understand the evolving requirements for service assisted and automated software distribution
- Serve as a domain expert for networks and cloud connections
Who do we look for
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a multi-cultural, collaborative high-tech software environment.
Education/experience:
- MSc or BSc degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field
- at least 10 years of proven experience in software engineering and knowledge of networked/connected systems
- proactive problem-solving approach, influencing abilities, agile mentality, self-motivated
- ability to effectively communicate and work with many different types of personalities over different time zones
- willingness to travel, up to 10%
