• Develop and manage your QA team to ensure the quality of the assigned software products
• Ensure proper test coverage in the relevant software areas (e.g. firmware, SDKs, mobile apps, server apps) using both manual and automated QA approaches
• Directly hands-on contribute to the work of your team, taking care of the advanced tasks which require the highest QA expertise, especially in the area of QA automation
• Lead and oversee the development of the automated QA tests, perform their code reviews
• Closely cooperate with the SW Engineering Managers responsible for the development of software your team tests, coordinate with them the QA activities and time plans and ensure the development work is not unnecessarily delayed
• Plan the utilization of your resources and assign tasks in a way which effectively utilizes the capacity and capabilities of your team
• Monitor and report progress against plans, providing early warnings of slippage
• Formulate and define team objectives, goals and quality metrics, communicate these and measure progress against them
• In coordination with your manager develop, maintain and improve testing infrastructure
• Onboard and tutor new team members and identify their training requirements
• Take care of the personal development of your team members

• Proven ability and experience to lead a small software QA team
• Subject matter expert in the state-of-the-art test methodologies, techniques and quality metrics in both manual and automated QA
• A hands-on technical experience with creating automated QA tests in Python or other programming languages, ideally as a former SW developer
• Working knowledge of software code development in Python and ideally other languages (C, C++, C#). Knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Practical knowledge of multiple automated QA frameworks, ideally from several areas (firmware, SDKs, mobile apps, servers)
• Working knowledge of bug/defect tracking, software code repositories, build systems (Jenkins) and test management systems (Test Rail)
• Knowledge and experience with testing multiple types of software (firmware, SDKs, mobile apps, server apps)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile development methodology
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
• Organizational skills, ability to plan resources
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must
• Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
• Working knowledge of Czech or Slovak is an advantage

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a developer of automated QA tests.
• At least 2 years of leading or supervising a group of QA Engineers.
• Knowledge of C, C++, C#, Android and i OS is an advantage (optional, but preferred)
• Experience with Windows driver qualification (WHQL) (optional, but preferred)
• Experience with testing and qualification of PC peripherals or other electronic devices (optional, but preferred)
• Experience in development of biometric systems (optional, but preferred)
