Flying Tiger Copenhagen is currently looking for a Business Controller for our Nordic cluster – maybe it’s you!
The Nordic cluster includes Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland; the team consists of highly qualified professionals from various backgrounds in an informal environment. The position will be based in the Copenhagen office, on Strandgade in Christianshavn where we support around 150 stores. You will be referring directly to the Finance Manager, Nordics.

This is the job
As Business Controller Nordics, you will work in close collaboration with Nordic Business Controlling team and Country managers. You will perform financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and help implementing the overall business plans across the area of responsibility. You will act as a key business partner and you will be accountable for the Nordics’ cluster economic and financial performance. You will maintain open dialogue and communication with the global business in order to create alignment and sharing best practices.
More specifically your responsibilities are:

• Month-end closing tasks and financial reporting
• Support stakeholders with preparation of monthly business reviews (results are shared to our group Chief Retail Officer)
• Preparation of reporting and analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Critical eye for our processes to help push them to the next level
• Support ad-hoc analysis, business cases and strategic decision making

You can expect up to 5 travel days per year to meet your stakeholders across our various markets.

This is you
The preferred candidate has +2 years finance or accounting experience from an international retail business; however, this is not a must.

Our expectations:

• You have a M.Sc. in Finance / Economics or similar
• You are an experienced user in Excel and have strong skills in Microsoft Office package. You will work with data in various forms and formats so you know how to organize and analyze information efficiently
• You are an effective communicator with strong critical thinking skills
• You hold a business level proficiency in spoken and written English and in Swedish or Danish

As a person, you are positive, dynamic and easy to work with. You have a service minded approach, and at the same time you know how to challenge your stakeholders.
