The position

Your main tasks as a Business Finance Specialist will be to:

Drive budget process and follow-up ensuring resources are allocated to business priorities and support areas on incorporating optimization ambitions in forecasts
Provide financial insights to drive decisions and discussions on prioritization across CVP areas and for Novo Nordisk Quality management
Act as a sparring partner and support to senior management on finance related topics and analytics.
Drive Full cost allocation model and related analysis tasks across Novo Nordisk Quality

Qualifications

We are looking for a colleague with good understanding of financial management and controlling.

To succeed in this role, you have:

Financial background with a master’s degree within Finance, Economics or similar
Substantial experience with budgeting, business reviews and financial reporting
Experience with key reporting tools e.g. Power BI, SAP or similar is a requirement
Proficiency in Excel and Power Point is essential
Proficiency in both oral and written English

Previous experience in a production industry will be seen as an advantage.

On a personal level, you possess great communication skills and are able to convey financial matters is an easy and concrete way for stakeholders who might not be proficient in it. You are result oriented and are motivated by engaging with stakeholders at CVP level.

About the department

You will become part of our Business Support VP area responsible for various business support functions across the Novo Nordisk Quality organisation with roughly 3.000 employees globally. We value and prioritize teamwork with a high degree of individual accountability and flexibility.

We take ownership of processes, projects and initiatives that serve our purpose and support our stakeholders in streamlining operations and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
