The CAD Plant 3D governance is a group level support function anchored in our subsidiary MAKEEN Enviro Tech. The function focusses on the selection and coordination, as well as procedural and methodological standardization of the combined Plant 3D platform. The current software package consists of Auto Desk products such as Auto CAD (Plant 3D and other specialized toolsets), Inventor, Navisworks, Vault, etc.
The CAD Administrator function is located in the headquarters where some 200 colleagues across +15 nationalities are employed. The majority of our employees however are located internationally, among those a substantial CAD function in India.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dynamic CAD Administrator to assume ownership and to drive the support function. The function reports to the Head of Global Project Engineering.
The successful candidate will acknowledge and appreciate to function between the continually evolving CAD technology and corporate interests. Thus, aiming to ensure a standardized and best practice utilization of the full CAD platform across all our relevant business entities in an efficient collaboration between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assure cross CAD/BIM platform interoperability:
- Key player in planning upgrades and modifications of CAD/BIM programs and -integrations.
- Ensure uniform handling and storage of all Plant 3D files.
- Ensure uniform set-up and user-settings in Plant 3D.
- Assure integration and automation between Plant 3D and neighboring software e.g. ERP system.
- Create- and maintain Plant 3D catalogs.
- Create guidelines and support users in the use of Plant 3D and integration of associated programs.
- Coordination with all relevant stakeholders including global IT, technical management functions as well as external relations such as CAD software and integration suppliers, Auto Desk partners and consultants.
- Facilitate CAD/Plant 3D knowledge sharing.
- Overviewing- and management of Auto Desk licenses and token-usage in cooperation with Global IT.

Isolated tasks in MAKEEN Enviro Tech – creation and maintenance of;
- Plant 3D project-templates.
- Plant 3D pipe spec-files (extract og catalogs).
- Templates and other functionality for data analysis and BOM as well as for reporting purposes.
- Technical education in product design e.g. Product Technologist or Mechanical Engineer or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from project-/ process businesses including a touch with complex process technologies.
- Some functional experience with design in 2D and 3D, arrangement drawings, PFD’s, P&ID’s, pipe isometrics etc.
- Administrative experience within the majority of the scope defined in the above key responsibilities.
- Well-experienced in MS Office, ERP system(s) and IT in general.
- Strong communication-, coordination-, collaboration-, interpersonal- and intercultural skills.
- Very good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
