Director, Owner Communication

Your primary target audience are the farmers who own Danish Crown, and your key stakeholders include the Board of Representatives, Board of Directors, our Executive Management team, Owner Service, and your colleagues in Group Communication.

The need for clear, ongoing communication to Danish Crown’s farmer owners have increased as the company is going through a fast-paced transformation to improve competitiveness while also working hard to reach ambitious targets on sustainability. Our farmers are hard-working business owners, who require transparent and engaging communication about the development, management and performance of Danish Crown.

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver new owner communication strategy for Danish Crown
• Advise senior management and the Board of Directors concerning communication to farmer owners and the Board of Representatives
• Coordinate and integrate owner communication plans and activities with wider corporate communication operations
• Ensure ongoing proactive planning of communication pipeline to owners about business performance, cooperative processes, key owner meetings, and strategic agendas
• Work with IT, Member Relations/Owner Service, Group Procurement and Group Communications VP to improve Danish Crown’s communication channels with owners.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, journalism, business or a related field and extensive professional experience. This includes:

• Advanced stakeholder management & communication skills at an executive level and the ability to build a robust network within and outside an organization
• Experience working in a corporate company or multi-stakeholder organization
• Ability to simplify complexity and communicate effectively.

A 'can-do' attitude ensures proactive action in a fast-paced environment. Be an ambassador who motivates and inspires your colleagues, stakeholders, and Danish Crown. We are looking for a colleague who can detect and analyze problems from different angles, but who has a solution-oriented, trust-winning and constructive mindset when working with complex issues. Additionally, you should be able to balance the needs and requests of your different internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, it would help if you communicate effortlessly in both Danish and English.
