The position
As a Student Assistant in Sales Analysis & Insights, you will support the team on various tasks within corporate finance processes.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Driving automation and further improvement of financial planning and reporting processes
Contributing to the preparation of financial reports and presentations for Senior Management such as monthly and quarterly management reporting, budget documents, and memos on strategic topics
Supporting Ad-hoc tasks include providing support to financial modeling, driving financial insights, and answering questions from key stakeholders
Involving in (most of the tasks) reporting insights and preparing analysis in a clear and concise language based on analyses in Excel or using Power BI

The position is part-time, planned for 15-20 hours/week, and will be flexible around exam schedules. This job provides you with solid knowledge about financial management and insights into the entire Novo Nordisk value chain.

Qualifications
You are studying in the final year of your Bachelor's or recently embarked on your Master’s degree with a primary focus on Finance, Financial Economics, or Business-related studies.
We're looking for candidates who bring these qualifications:

Strong analytical mindset with interpersonal and collaboration skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Good Excel knowledge is a plus

As a person, you are friendly and communicative, engaging comfortably with international colleagues. Additionally, you bring intellectual curiosity, a strong drive to succeed, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

About the department
Sales Analysis & Insights provides financial analysis related to sales, supply/demand, and patient reach to support key decisions of Executive Management, the Board of Directors, the CFO, and the Senior Vice President of Business Finance. In addition, we are responsible for the corporate financial processes such as monthly and quarterly management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Our primary goal is to provide valuable business insights concerning sales in our two commercial units, North America Operations and International Operations.

We achieve this by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business and embracing a finance partnering mindset. You will learn to write sales and financial reports for senior stakeholders and get a thorough understanding of Novo Nordisk products, the commercial organisation, and how a pharmaceutical company operates.
