We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Product Management to lead and drive the success of our software products and projects across various business units.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Head of Product Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of DHI's software product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Matrix Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Product Owners across Software Products, Projects, and Advisory, with a strong focus on developing their competencies and skills.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Drive cross-functional collaboration among Product Owners, ensuring alignment and coordination to achieve key business objectives.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate alignment between multiple commercial stakeholders, managing escalations when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting and Analytics: Implement and manage Power BI reporting to track development trends, team velocity, and task alignment against standard processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Organize and present quarterly “State of the Nation” updates to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on product development status and strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need to achieve the following:
- Financial Transparency: Ensure clear visibility and reporting on Life Cycle Management (LCM) spend across products.
- Roadmap Transparency: Establish and maintain transparency into development roadmaps and future plans for key products.
- Product Owner Development: Actively support and drive the skill and competency development of the Product Owner team.
- Proven experience in a senior product management role, ideally with matrix responsibility across diverse teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and project management.
- Experience in implementing reporting and analytics tools, especially Power BI, to support decision-making.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Passion for developing talent and supporting team growth.
