As a Production Planner in MAN Energy Solutions site Copenhagen, your primary responsibility is to ensure a transparent, reliable production plan in close collaboration with the production managers, technicians, and supply chain.

The team is part of PEC, production site Copenhagen. We are currently 8 dedicated employees responsible for the planning tasks in the production of injection components for large two stroke engines. This position covers a wide range of activities such as making sure production is continuously optimized, running as many machine hours as possible with the right product mix to live up the customer expectations. We have a wide range of stakeholders and are participating and driving cross-functional supply chain projects.
The team is flexible, helpful, and supportive of each other across competencies, and comprises a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

You will play an important role in:
As a Production Planner in MAN Energy Solutions site Copenhagen, your primary responsibility is to ensure a transparent, reliable production plan in close collaboration with the production managers, technicians, and supply chain.
You will, among other things, be:
- Ensuring that our planning system is set up to make planning easy in the complex setting of the production.
- Part of developing and optimizing the planning process together with the governance around that
- Building a robust system that help us make the right decision if (and when) the plan changes on the short horizon. This involves timely communication to stakeholders and understanding the consequences of changing the plan.
- Supporting various reporting tasks.
- Participating in Supply Chain Projects, e.g., forecasting, planning visualization, capacity scenarios, or similar
A successful candidate would tick the box of some of the following:
- An academic degree within e.g., Supply Chain Management, Production engineering or similar
- Skilled in system dynamics and prefer to explore current system capabilities rather than develop own tools, experience with SAP R/3 is an advantage but not a must, as we are in the process of transferring to SAP S4 HANA
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Analytical skills and not afraid of working with multiple data sets (Power BI experience is an asset but not a must)
- Curious about processes and natural interest to optimize them
- Proficiency at a business level in both spoken and written English and Danish
