Welcome to our Engineering Building team…

You will be working in our Engineering Building team, which is part of Engineering Europe. Your team consists of 8 other highly skilled team colleagues and they will make sure you are onboarded in a good manner and get the right support to succeed in Novonesis.

In this role you’ll make an impact by...

Acting as Project management or sub-project manager for building related projects on our production facility’s, Lab´s, office, site infrastructure, warehouse etc.

Your projects are scaled from minor to medium projects, and you will handle them from conceptual design to handover. This will take up 90% of your daily work. You will also be supporting our engineering teams in America, Europe and Asia with design, specifications and do reviews of project material.

Further, you will ensure that knowledge and best practice of building and utilities projects relevant for Novonesis will be anchored within Engineering, just as you will stay updated on new knowledge and develop new standards within Engineering Building.

To succeed you must hold...

Education as Engineer, Architect, Architectural design and construction management (Bygningskonstruktør) or similar
Min. 2 years of experience of developing and designing buildings within bioscience industry
Min. 2 years of experience of Project management
Work independently and structured, take initiative, and interact with stakeholders across the organization
Work in all levels of the building phase. From CD, BD, DD to tenders and entering into agreement with suppliers, construction phase to moving in and follow-up
Good understanding of a customer’s mindset. Previous experience as a client is an advantage but not a requirement
Good understanding of logistic and flows, building materials and building physics and contractual and legal relations with consultants and suppliers within AB / ABR system
Basic knowledge of structural, utility, HVAC and electrical disciplines
Good communicating skills with fluency in Danish and English, spoken and written. German is a plus

Finally, experience from working globally is an advantage but not a requirement and you must be able to travel from 5 to 15 days per year.
