We are looking for a Release Manager for one of our clients within Healthcare.
Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Senior - 5-10 years of relevant work experience
Relevant education
Highly skilled work requiring thorough knowledge of advanced technical methods to perform highly complex assignments and resolve a wide range of technical problems
Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative
Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
Supervision: Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
Proficiency in release management tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience with version control systems like Git
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications, Experience: Previous experience in a software development or operations role is a plus, Knowledge: Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools
Strong English skills - both oral and written
Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Release Management Strategy: Establish the foundation for our current and future release management process including operationalizing it within the Customer Engagement
Release Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives
Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for release management across teams, departments, and business units to drive consistency and efficiency
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with releases, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure successful and timely releases
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of release processes, schedules, and dependencies
Change Management: Oversee the change management process, ensuring that all changes are properly reviewed, approved, and documented
Automation: Identify opportunities for automation within the release process to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members on release management tools, processes, and best practices
