Senior Automation Project Manager - Aveva PI

The position

As our new Senior Automation Project Manager, you will play a prominent role in Fill & Finish production Expansions where you will be part of building our new global Aveva PI platform across global sites.

You will be working closely with different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers to deploy Aveva PI application on sites. You will closely collaborate with Automation Specialists, Domain Architects, and different process responsible stakeholders to assess requirements and rightly influence the design, being responsible for the coordination between vendors, sites and PI developers, to guarantee systems integration on time. Your focus areas will be to:

Take ownership of the project management disciplines on behalf of IT & Automation
Leading project teams (deployment on sites)
Aligning project goals and timelines with central Aveva PI team
Managing project budget (different vendors)
Project report (roadblocks, challenges, alignment between delivery teams)
Create and execute the project plan, manage stakeholders, challenge solutions and speed of implementation.
Ensure compliance and quality in all parts of the projects.
Involve with various technology partners (internal and external) and site work package owners.

Beyond the execution and control of the project you will be responsible for shaping best practices and standards with your colleagues in our PMO, the IT Infrastructure team and the Aveva PI team.

Some travel activity is to be expected.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

A master, bachelor, or technician degree within automation or/and IT.
Technical experience from the automation/production industry – preferably within a GMP regulated industry environment.
Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Aveva PI (Osi PI), SCADA, PLC, MES, and Industry 4.0.
Strong project management skills with several years of experience in a similar role, working on large, global projects.
Fluent oral and written English.

DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future.

Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.

As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
