The position
As Senior Category Strategy Partner, you play a pivotal role in shaping Novo Nordisk's long-term success by co-creating category strategies. We expect you to empower category managers to develop comprehensive plans that safeguard our supply security and ensure our competitive edge endures for years to come.
As Senior Category Strategy Partner, you play a pivotal role in shaping Novo Nordisk's long-term success by co-creating category strategies. You will be the driving force behind translating aspirations into concrete roadmaps that guide our supply chain's future direction.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate the strategic vision and action plans to senior management, securing their buy-in and fostering commitment
- Delving into supply market, demand, and supply chain trends, extracting actionable insights to inform a credible strategic direction
- Monitoring and evaluating proactively the performance of strategic action plans, identifying areas for improvement and course-correcting as needed
- Playing a key role in establishing the Category Strategy Co E, developing and implementing a modus operandi that will guide the Co E's operations and ensure its success

- Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, supply chain, finance, or another field
- Demonstrate practical experience from a consultancy, entrepreneurship, and/or policy development role within a complex organisation
- Possess a strong commercial background and proven track record of strategic contributions for large companies or inter-governmental institutions
- Showcase exceptional analytical skills and business acumen, enabling you to clearly convey ideas, inspire action, and foster consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Display proficiency in both spoken and written English
It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
On a personal level, you are driven, have a motivated mindset and can challenge viewpoints with gravitas and conviction, earning the respect and trust of your colleagues. You have the ability to break down complex situations, problems, and issues into practical, actionable steps, ensuring strategic plans are grounded and achievable. Your effective stakeholder management skills enable you to set direction and drive change, inspiring colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment across all levels.
About the department
You will be part of our newly stablished Category Strategy Co E, within Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices Organisation, where we connect Product Supply’s needs within structural capacity, inbound materials and services with the global supplier market outside Novo Nordisk.
