About the role
As our new Senior Finance Business Partner, you will get a key role in an international organization. You will be a part of the Shipping Division Senior Finance Business Partner team which plays a central role as sparring partner for the Divisional CFO and Management responsible for individual business units. The team is close-knit and characterized by a high professional standard and the ability to take fresh initiatives in a busy and challenging environment.
The key activities of the Finance Business Partners are organized under 3 headings;
1. Reporting activities
2. Operational insight activities
3. Business development activities

And your roles and responsibilities include the following:

• Help define and implement the Finance Business partnering concept (supporting strategy formulation and execution)
• Support and prepare, develop and improve ongoing internal reporting, both historical and budgets/forecasts, hereunder identifying, preparing and interpretation of relevant key performance indicators
• Act as sparring partner for the management of the different business units in the Shipping Division
• Through analysis to challenge the business units, identify needs for process alignment and participate in the process securing improvements and optimizations
• Participate in projects related to new initiatives/business as well as improvements of existing
• Control accounting information from the different business units
• Be a part of developing our One Stream reporting tool

Following the re-organization of the Ferry Division, a new larger organization was established under the umbrella Ferry Operations. Ferry Operations is responsible for the Vessel and Equipment Pool, Fleet Resilience & Technology, the Terminals and Sustainable Fleet Projects.
You will be based at our headquarter in Copenhagen and report to the CFO of the Shipping Division who is also located at the headquarter. In view of the number of international subsidiaries, you can expect some business travel – estimated at 20 days per year.

About you
As a person you have a systematic and analytical approach to work. You have good communication skills and can work in a team across cultural and national differences. You are outgoing, friendly and have a personal drive. Moreover, you are responsible, understand the importance of keeping deadlines, and have a positive mindset.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate has:

• Min. 3 years of relevant experience from a larger international company
• Experience in controlling/finance business partnering
• A master’s degree, e.g. within accounting or finance
• A strong understanding of accounts
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
