The role of Sr. IT Product Manager is part of the Digital and E-commerce team of Arla Pro, our global foodservice division. This truly international team, based in Arla’s global HQ in Denmark, enables the digital transformation of Arla’s foodservice business.

One leg in Business, one leg in IT
As our new Sr. IT Product Manager, you will have two distinct areas of responsibility. First, you will represent Foodservice in the IT Agile Release Train (ART) Management Team. Second, you will lead cross-functional SAP projects through the organization.
This combination makes your role interesting, rewarding, and challenging. You will have high exposure to stakeholders in both business and IT, with strong support from the people around you.

Your primary task is to ensure that the Foodservice IT development teams deliver the scope within budget. You will collaborate closely with other ART team members, overseeing Arla Pro’s portfolio of IT solutions, and with the Product Owners in the Global Foodservice team.

You will synchronize project delivery from the Product Owners and coach them in their roles. Additionally, you will participate in PI planning, present the Roadmap, develop cost estimates, and submit the Lean Business Case for Foodservice.

Besides your responsibilities as a product manager, you will lead cross-functional (SAP) projects through the organization. Your main task is to collaborate closely with various functions (IT, Finance, Masterdata, Customer Service) across markets and central teams to ensure the Foodservice business benefits from structured data and efficient End-2-End processes.

Currently, an important SAP project is running that enables better Net Revenue Management. Bringing relevant experience with SAP IT development projects is highly desirable.

You navigate Foodservice through IT
You will work with a complex stakeholder environment, spanning different cultures. Thus, you have great facilitation skills and thrive engaging with people of different cultures and from various backgrounds.

As the right candidate for this job, you have experience with agile (ideally SAFe), and a strong ability to link business needs to IT development.

There are different paths that can lead to this position. You may have a background in IT, but you can equally have a background in Master data, Sales or Finance. As long as you are curious, the job ad speaks to you and you love working in a diverse team where there is room for fun.

While we prefer the candidate to work from Aarhus, we are open for a remote set-up from Arla’s office in Gdansk or one of Arla’s Euro Zone markets (Denmark, Sweden, UK, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands).

Furthermore, you have:

• A master degree level or other relevant education
• IT understanding gained from 3-5 years’ experience
• Advanced English skills both verbal and written
• Experience with SAP and/or Masterdata will be an advantage
