The position
As Senior Manager, you will lead a team consisting of three team leaders. Your main objective will be to ensure the efficient functioning of inbound processes, ensure the departments high quality mindset, support and improve processes and assure that the department is inspections ready.

As a part of our leadership DNA, we constantly seeking optimization and therefore a part of the position will be to ensure, that our processes run optimally and in interaction with our customers. With the many customers across Novo Nordisk, it is crucial to see the bigger picture and how we can serve the business with good standards and high-quality mindset.

Your main activities include:

Leading, managing and developing the Integrated Operational Support Department according to requirements, driving performance improvement through optimisation
Providing leadership and guidance to team leaders, fostering their development and ensuring the effective management of their respective teams.
Overseeing quality and compliance across all processes, ensuring audit and inspection standards
Setting goals for both the department and team members, providing ongoing support and motivation to encourage continuous improvement and smarter ways of working
Ensuring the health and safety of your team in all work related activities
Establishing direction and aligning departmental initiatives with the broader Sourcing Operation strategy

In the daily operations, you will work closely together with the managers present in Global Inbound Warehouse.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you:

Hold at least a master’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with substantial experience within supply chain, production management, LEAN, or operations within GMP
Demonstrate strong leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex, dynamic setting
Bring expertise in process optimization and a solid understanding of ISO standards
Possess excellent communication skills, ensuring effective stakeholder management and successful change management
Display proficiency in both spoken and written English

It would be considered as a strong advantage if you are proficient in Danish.

As a leader, you naturally motivate and engage your team. You radiate calmness and composure, which earns you the trust of your stakeholders and which motivates your team to follow your lead. Lastly, you provide clear direction, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure high performance from your team.

About the department
The Sourcing Warehouse Hillerød department is a pivotal and ambitious department with approx. 110 employees organized into 9 teams. The site is operating in a Lean environment and utilizing just-in-time delivery methodologies, the department relies on highly dedicated employees and robust support systems. The Sourcing Warehouse Hillerød is responsible for the receipt of all raw materials, sampling, and the dispatching of orders to all Novo Nordisk sites globally.

You will join a team consisting of a team of three teamleaders that daily ensures the Quality support, Operational Support and Facility and Validation tasks. The department is in Hillerød, with many close colleagues in Kalundborg. We expect high performance and the ambition to make your mark on our business.
