One thing is for sure – you will get a highly versatile role. Putting your technical expertise on electrical panels, back-up and converter systems into play, you will both partake in ongoing projects for new products as well as provide support on existing products.

Responsibilities
As our Senior Specialist, you will also become product owner on system level for designs developed for a specific customer (Hardware, software).

More specifically, you will:
  • Take the technical responsibility on aligning requirements in the early phase of the product development
  • Ensure the right solution is selected to ensure high product quality, optimal cost and focus on “time-to market”
  • Partake in customer meetings as the technical specialist e.g. to clarify technical needs and provide support on quotations and product specifications
  • Analyze and make decisions on how to design the electrical panels
  • Be part of our System Manager community who set the direction for concepts of wind turbine electrical sub-systems for the future
  • Help ensure electrical panels are tested according to requirements
  • Be our electrical expert in complex electrical engineering topics

At our office in Denmark (Ikast/Hammel), you will become part of our Control Hardware Engineering department. Here, you will join 12+ colleagues counting our system managers and technical project managers. We are responsible for developing and delivering for electrical panels and systems supplies for wind turbines globally.
Our customers are the leading wind turbine manufacturers in the world, and we do our outmost to deliver competitive products within green technology that fit our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations – every time.
You will become part of a well-functioning and helpful team of wind power wizards with an ongoing exchange of ideas. Everyone can bring their ideas into play – actually, that is exactly what we want you to do.
In our department you will be one of the wizards who will design our future and you will get a lot of freedom to do as you see fit.

Electrical engineer with a bright mind
As a person, you can easily engage with customers and make them feel comfortable, but also taking the necessary discussion to find the real needs of the customer. You also love bringing new ideas to the table to ensure continuous improvements.

Moreover, you:
  • Bring several years of experience with design of electrical panels (control, UPS and converter systems)
  • Have experience with Back-up solutions e.g AC/DC – DC/DC converters with battery packages
  • Have experience with LFP/Life PO4 battery technology
  • Show proven records of performance testing of complex control cabinets
  • Have an electrical engineering background (power engineering, marine engineering, etc.) or a similar background
  • Have worked with Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
  • Preferably have worked with software integration in electrical panels
  • Bring knowledge of EN61439, EN60204 and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
